Amongst our fans and followers, this announcement is likely the worst kept secret in the world, since our own excitement and a mix of drink and arm-twisting at the Chevron convention in January have lead to myself and others on the team revealing details ahead of time.
After some confusion resulting from the way we have let out dribs and drabs of info about what we are doing I’ve decided to write this blog post to officially announce what we will be doing once the Hiatus Project comes to an end on March 26th.
Firstly, I should qualify that by saying – the current hiatus project, since we definitely intend to continue the project in the future.
April 2nd will be a special day for myself and my team, not only will it be the day that SGU returns to our screens with Episode 11 “Space” but it will also be the official “launch day” of www.colonelez.net. |
Colonelez.net will be, first and foremost a review website, becoming the new home of not only my own SGU episode reviews but Brian Naujoks’ as well (for those who don’t know that’s

We’ll also be expanding our reviews to some other shows, at launch these will include Supernatural, reviewed by our own Karrie Baughman (
@lefembat2 ) Chuck & Caprica (reviewed by myself) and V – the series (Reviewed by Brian)
It is our hope to expand the reviews on the site as we move away from launch but these are the shows we will be covering from the outset.
Secondly, Brian & I will be launching our new podcast “Two Geeks & A Mic” a few days after the site launches.
The podcast will be SGU focused and feature discussion on the most recent episode and character developments, as well as our thoughts, wishes, assumptions and speculations on what happens next – as some will know we recently recorded our first trial episode and are in the process of debating whether we will upload it for you guys or whether it’s a little too random to share with you all.
I can only hope that you are all as excited about these developments as we are, or at least half as excited because we are crazy excited and if you have any ideas, suggestions, requests for the podcasts, the hiatus project or anything else please feel free to send an email
