#SaveStargate Hands Creators a Playbook for July 25 — and Quietly Adds a Mystery August 8 Event

The #SaveStargate campaign has published a dedicated hub and a downloadable Creator Guide for its July 25 day of action, turning what began as a loose call to "flood the feed" into a co-ordinated plan. The guide asks fans, podcasters, streamers, artists and sci-fi communities to publish Stargate content between 9:00am and 10:00am local time on Saturday, July 25 — a rolling, timezone-by-timezone wave designed to keep the hashtag visible across the whole day — while stressing that content posted at any hour still helps.

The document also confirms two things the campaign had not previously spelled out: there will be a livestreamed event from San Diego Comic-Con on the day, plus a Tweet Storm later that Saturday, with details promised on savestargate.com. On messaging, organizers ask creators to explain that the cancelled series would have continued Stargate's original canon and tone under franchise veterans Martin Gero, Brad Wright and Joseph Mallozzi, and to keep posts positive — explicitly ruling out personal attacks, harassment, doom posting, fandom infighting and political framing.

Meanwhile, the campaign's events calendar has gained a new entry beyond Comic-Con: an August 8 item labelled "SPACE" and marked CLASSIFIED, sitting after the July 18 international day and the July 25 world event, both of which are now open for in-person RSVPs. No further details have been released, but its presence suggests organizers are planning past the Comic-Con push rather than treating it as a finale.

The drumbeat continues elsewhere too: Joseph Mallozzi noted on his blog on July 10 that the campaign "shows no signs of slowing down." Amazon MGM Studios has still made no public statement on the cancellation, the petition, or the campaign's escalating series of events.
