Six Stargate Stars — Including Richard Dean Anderson — Reunite at Rose City Comic Con as #SaveStargate Plans a Fall Push

Rose City Comic Con has assembled one of the largest Stargate cast gatherings in convention history for its September 11–13 show at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland. Organizers have added Rachel Luttrell, Joe Flanigan, and Ben Browder to a guest list that already featured Richard Dean Anderson, Torri Higginson, and Tony Amendola — bringing six original stars of Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis together under one roof.

The line-up spans both flagship series. Anderson led SG-1 as Colonel (later Brigadier General) Jack O'Neill and rarely appears on the convention circuit, while Ben Browder joined the team in season nine as Cameron Mitchell. From Atlantis, Joe Flanigan played John Sheppard, Rachel Luttrell played Teyla Emmagan, and Torri Higginson played Dr. Elizabeth Weir. Tony Amendola, familiar to fans as the Jaffa master Bra'tac, appeared across both shows.

The reunion lands as the fan-led #SaveStargate campaign — organized in response to Amazon MGM Studios halting Martin Gero's planned revival earlier this summer — extends its efforts into the autumn convention season. Alongside a banner flyover and rooftop meet-up planned for San Diego Comic-Con on July 24, campaign organizers say they intend to bring #SaveStargate to Rose City Comic Con in Portland and Dragon Con in Atlanta, keeping the franchise visible where fans gather in person.

Attendee badges are available at rosecitycomiccon.com. The reunion is a convention booking rather than any indication of the revival's status, but it underlines how active the Stargate fanbase remains more than two decades after the original shows first aired.
