Anubis's Jackal Guard Helmet Joins Master Replicas' Stargate Desktop Line
Master Replicas has added a fourth piece to its Stargate Desktop Replicas range: a scaled replica of the Jackal Guard helmet worn by the Jaffa who served Anubis. The listing appeared on the company's store in the past week and is flagged as new in its Stargate New Releases collection, priced at $69.99 and listed as a pre-order due to ship in January 2027.
According to Master Replicas' own product description, the helmet was digitally sculpted from a study of the original screen-used props and cast in polyresin before being hand painted. It stands just under six inches (15 cm) tall when displayed on its bespoke stand — the same desk-friendly scale as the rest of the line. The company notes that the jackal-headed design reflects Anubis's association with the jackal god, and that the helmets were only actually seen on screen in the 1994 feature film and at the end of Stargate SG-1's eighth season, worn by Jackal guards in Ra's service.
The Desktop Replicas line launched earlier this summer with Apophis's Serpent Guard helmet, followed by the Horus Guard helmet and a scaled Ma'Tok staff. It sits alongside Master Replicas' larger Stargate model programme, which has recently included the Goa'uld Alkesh bomber and the illuminated Atlantis ZPM. Master Replicas holds an MGM licence to produce collectibles across the Stargate franchise.
