Master Replicas Opens Pre-Orders for a Horus Guard Helmet, Unveiled on Stargate Day

Master Replicas has revealed its next Stargate collectible: a desktop replica of the Horus Guard helmet, now open for pre-order. The company had teased an announcement for Stargate Day — 27 July — in a newsletter sent out on 22 July, and the reveal landed on schedule, with German fan site Stargate-Project.de reporting that pre-orders went live the following day.

The piece is the second in Master Replicas' new line of Stargate desktop prop replicas, following the Serpent Guard helmet. According to the product listing, it was digitally sculpted from careful study of the original props, cast in polyresin and then painted, and stands just under 6 inches (15 cm) tall on its bespoke display stand. It is listed at $69.99 on the company's US store, with shipping estimated for December 2026. Master Replicas notes it is an art piece for display rather than a toy, and not suitable for anyone under 14.

The Horus Guards — the falcon-headed Jaffa who served Ra and later Heru'ur — were among the first things SG-1 saw after stepping through the gate to Abydos, which is a large part of why the helmet is such a recognisable piece of the franchise's iconography. The Stargate line now sits alongside Master Replicas' Ha'tak, Puddle Jumper, Daedalus, Destiny and Ra's Pyramid models, plus an illuminated Atlantis ZPM replica.
