Master Replicas Opens Pre-Orders for a Stargate Universe Kino Replica, Shipping December 2026
Master Replicas has opened pre-orders for a Stargate Universe Kino replica, the small floating reconnaissance drone that Eli Wallace discovered aboard Destiny in the season one episode "Air, Part 2". The product listing went live on the Master Replicas store on October 2, and the company says the piece is due to ship in December 2026.
The replica measures 11cm (4.33 inches) in diameter and is made from multi-part cast resin with a hand-finished internal ball and a metallic-style paint finish intended to evoke Ancient technology. Master Replicas says it was digitally modelled from screen references, describing the Kino as one of the trickiest designs in Stargate Universe to reproduce. The listing notes that current product images show an early sample, with updated photos to follow once the final sample arrives.
It is priced at £89.99 on the UK store and $99.99 on the US store. The Kino joins a growing Stargate Universe line from Master Replicas, which already includes a Destiny ship model and an XL Destiny desk mat, and it follows the company's September fan survey results in which a Kino was flagged as one of the items coming sooner rather than later.
