Fans Voted, Master Replicas Listened: Aurora, Wraith Hive and Ori Mothership Are Next — with the O'Neill, a Kino and a Tel'tak Coming Sooner

Master Replicas has published the results of the Stargate fan survey it ran in early August, and used them to set out where its Stargate line goes next. According to Stargate-Project.de's report on the company's August community update newsletter, nearly 650 fans from around the world took part, saying which collectibles they most want and which corner of the franchise interests them most.

Four ships were each picked by well over half of respondents: the Ancient Aurora-class warship, the Wraith Hive ship, the Ori mothership and the Asgard O'Neill. Other Wraith ship types and the BC-304 variants followed. Unsurprisingly, Stargate Atlantis was the clear winner when fans were asked for their favourite era. Master Replicas says the next ship models it will work on are the Aurora-class, the Wraith Hive Ship and the Ori mothership, and that the Zat'nik'tel emerged as the most-wanted prop replica and will be prioritised. The company also intends to put more focus on Atlantis, in particular the city-ship itself, which keeps appearing in fan wish lists.

Half of those surveyed asked for something rather bigger: a life-size Stargate. Master Replicas has not dismissed the idea, saying it will look at it honestly and be clear about what is realistically achievable.

The newsletter also offered a sneak peek at what is closest to release, all three of which were themselves survey suggestions. The Asgard O'Neill from SG-1 and the Kino — the floating drone from Stargate Universe that Eli named — are due "in the near future", while the Goa'uld Tel'tak cargo ship is set to follow later this year, joining the Ha'tak and the recently announced Alkesh in the Goa'uld fleet. Master Replicas' current Stargate range is listed on its site.
