Stargate Atlantis Stars Headline Shore Leave 46 Next Weekend in Lancaster
Two Stargate Atlantis favourites are heading to Pennsylvania next weekend. Shore Leave 46 runs July 10–12, 2026 at the Lancaster Wyndham Resort and Convention Center, with David Hewlett — Dr. Rodney McKay across all five seasons of Atlantis — and Rachel Luttrell, who played the Athosian leader Teyla Emmagan, both featured among the convention's celebrity guests.
Shore Leave is a long-running, fan-run nonprofit event organised by the STAT Club of Maryland. Alongside autograph sessions and photo ops, the weekend packs in fan panels, writing workshops, a vendor hall, a costume masquerade, gaming and an art show. Per the convention's guest details, each badge holder can bring one item for a complimentary autograph during the official Saturday and Sunday sessions, with additional signings and professional photo shoots available for a fee.
The appearances land at a lively moment for the fandom. Both Hewlett and Luttrell are among the Stargate cast members who have publicly lent their names to the #SaveStargate campaign following Amazon MGM Studios' decision to drop Martin Gero's planned new series — so the convention gives fans a rare chance to meet two of Atlantis's leads in person while the effort to revive the franchise continues.
