Teryl Rothery Joins Amanda Tapping for Australia's All-Women Stargate Convention
Australian promoter The Hub Productions has added a second name to Return to the Gate – Queens of the Chevron, its October Stargate convention: Teryl Rothery, who played Dr. Janet Fraiser on Stargate SG-1, now appears on the official event page alongside headliner Amanda Tapping. The page was last updated on 2 August 2026.
Billed as The Hub Productions' seventh Stargate event, Queens of the Chevron is the first to put the spotlight entirely on the women of the franchise. It runs across two cities on consecutive days — Sydney on Saturday 3 October 2026 and Melbourne on Sunday 4 October 2026, both roughly 9am to 5pm — with separate Platinum-only meet-and-greet evenings on the Friday night in Sydney and the Sunday night in Melbourne. Venues for both cities are still listed as TBA, and the organisers note that all guests appear subject to health and work commitments.
More names are clearly still to come: the VIP and Platinum ticket descriptions both promise an autograph from "each of the five Stargate guests", so three announcements remain outstanding. Tickets are single-city and priced at $160 for a day ticket, $800 for VIP and $1,350 for Platinum, plus a $5.95 handling fee and a 1.5% card transaction fee. They are physical rather than digital, posted about two weeks before the show, with anything ordered after 19 September held at the door.
Photo and autograph tokens are sold only on the day, row by row. The published rates put an Amanda Tapping photo at $90 and an autograph at $80, with Teryl Rothery at $80 and $70 respectively, and a Tapping/Rothery duo photo at $180.
