#SaveStargate Is Taking a Table at L.A. Comic Con Over Halloween Weekend
The #SaveStargate fan campaign will have a table at L.A. Comic Con, according to the events page on the campaign's official hub, savestargate.com. The convention runs from Friday, October 30 to Sunday, November 1, 2026, at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The campaign is inviting fans to stop by, say hello and sign the petition if they haven't already. It is also asking anyone who wants to help staff the table to fill out a volunteer application on its website.
This is the campaign's latest in-person appearance since its banner went to Paris Manga in early October. The hub's petition counter showed 124,960 signatures when we checked. The campaign's endorsed petition is "Save Stargate with Martin Gero" on Change.org.
The hub was last updated on October 15, after reports that WandaVision creator Jac Schaeffer is developing a new Stargate series for Amazon MGM Studios. In that update, the campaign says it is encouraged by reports that the new series will stay within the established Stargate universe. It adds that there "doesn't seem to be a path back" to a Martin Gero–led series, and it is urging fans to keep giving Amazon constructive feedback to respect the canon.
The campaign is also keeping up its regular online watch parties, streamed on YouTube, Twitch and Facebook. The events page lists SG-1's "Foothold" and Atlantis's "Condemned" for October 27 and 28 (UTC). A #SaveStargate D&D livestream, "The Adventures of SG-2" Episode 3, follows on November 2.
